For every order, we calculate the estimated carbon emissions from shipping. That number determines how much of our revenue goes toward carbon removal, funding companies vetted by climate scientists at Carbon Direct. These companies then remove that exact amount of carbon from the atmosphere, effectively canceling out the environmental cost of your delivery. Any additional funds go toward advancing next-generation carbon removal technology, so the whole system gets better over time.

 

Meet the Companies Undoing Our Emissions

Heirloom

Heirloom speeds up a process nature already does. Certain minerals naturally absorb CO2 over time. Heirloom's direct air capture technology accelerates that process dramatically, without relying on energy-intensive fans to force air through machinery.

Remora

Every semi-truck on the highway is a rolling source of emissions. Remora captures CO2 directly from truck tailpipes while they drive, then routes it to long-term underground storage where it can no longer contribute to warming.

 

Charm

Charm takes plant waste that would otherwise decompose and release carbon back into the air. Instead, they convert it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid and stores it deep underground, safely out of reach of wildfires and soil erosion.
